About 4 years ago I started a personal project entitled, Nothing But My Jeans. And it was just that - I photographed subjects in nothing but their favorite pair of denim. It was a series that celebrated one of the greatest textile materials to ever hit the fashion industry. But more importantly, I hoped the series would help promote individuality, self love and being comfortable in your own skin. I photographed around 15 different people for the series and then moved on to new projects.
Fast forward to 2019, and I have decided to re-start the series and shoot it hybrid - on digital, 120mm film and polaroid film. I have a much more refined eye and appreciation for the art of photography and I am very excited to dive back into this project. I’m not sure what the end result of this series will be. It could just live here in this online journal. It could turn into a zine or maybe a coffee table book one day. And who knows - maybe it will catch the eye of one of my favorite denim brands :)
For now, I will leave you with the first addition to the series in over 4 years.
